I'm looking for several, up to 10 or so, straight and tight–grained, rift–sawn Brazilian bridge blanks for restoration/repair work on old Martins and Gibsons. I know I'm asking a lot, but I'm willing to pay a premium for top-quality material. Thanks in advance!

Ken

I've gotten some from Darren Hippner, Ken. You can contact him through his ebay auctions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-ADIRONDACK-R ... 2ee55515b1

I've got some I'll let you pick from. I'm not using Brazilian for bridges much now. Too heavy. Not sure if the're big enough, but I've got a bunch of 'em.

You could also try Mario Proulx (Grumpy). Haven't seen him on here for a while, but I
remember hearing he had a 'bucket full' he doesn't use. Try his website.

I would not try to get them across the international border.

Yep, I cut 100 BRW blanks for Mario few years back and do believe he stopped using them due to export problems not wanted.
